Goals for 2025 are a new Parking lot, and remodel all the North side rooms . Please let us provide you a wonderful place to stay while your helping us make it even better Next time.
We offer Acoustic Guitars for lengthy visits. There is a great Golf Course south of town. We have Horseshoes, and Disc for local use.

All rooms have a Refrigerator and Microwave, there are BBQ Grills outside. And there is The Buzzards Roost next door with great Food and Drink, Pool Tables, Darts. Live Music, Karaoke and other Events available at certain times.

Our Story
The Buzzards Nest is a 22-room motel located in Downtown Lamar, Colorado, next to The Buzzards Roost Bar. We offer unique music-themed rooms and are American owned and operated. Known for being extended-stay friendly we also providing nightly service, The Buzzards Nest started in 2014 as an addition to the bar, providing a comfortable place for our customers and to offer area long term workers a comfortable place to stay at a great price. We are a lower Tech operation currently taking bookings and payment in Person on by phone the best way to book a room is by Text Message to Jay at (719) 688-4745 hope this isn't to much of a inconvenience, and hope to be able to offer our service to you time and time again.
